First off - I want to offer prayers for my brother Jeff’s former boss - their 21 month old baby got partially strangled in a soccer net and has significant brain damage. Strength to them for all the things that come next. So I know it’s been along time since I’ve written - you don’t like it - so sue me. A lot has been going on - my aunt died in July - I love you Aunt Kathy! She was much to young to say goodbye to - so it’s only till I see you again. I’ve had kittens. Well not me per se, but my cat Pumkin - we got her at the end of June but didn’t know she was pregnant. She was a very sick kitty, but we are getting her healty. The poor thing went into labor on my brother-in-law’s chest - quite an interesting way to be awoken at 4 AM. The kittens are doing wonderful. The first little one went off to his new home. The next one will be going to her home probably in the next week or so. It’s sad to see them leave, but I’m sure it will be nice to have the house sort of back to normal. Mama Pumpkin seems to be doing better. She had a bout of sever vomiting and what could be an ear infection or mites (the vet didn’t actually see any mites, but we’re treating for it anyway). We’ve had the poor girl about 3 months and she’s been to the vet 4 times - next trip should be to get her spayed. As for trial stuff - a trial date has been set for January 14, 2008 but we don’t know for sure if it will go then. There are a lot of motions and materials for them to still go through. There is a motions hearing this month and 2 scheduled for November. If everything goes smoothly they could go forward on January 14. It would be nice to get this done before the 5th anniversary of my attack, but one of the other girls will already hit 5 years. I’d just like to have this done and be able to go on with my life again. So I hop all is well with you. Take care my friends and remember how much your friends and family mean to you. Don’t be afraid to tell them how you feel - we never know how long we have, so enjoy it while you have it. |
